Caitlin Quinn is an adventurer and accomplished hiker who loves to meet people, create memories, and share stories. Together with her beloved canine hiking partner, Vaida, she has hiked thousands of miles throughout New England, completing Vermont’s Long Trail, the New Hampshire 48, and the New England 67. She repeatedly hiked New Hampshire’s peaks as well as the New England sections of the Appalachian Trail with Vaida. In 2019, she followed her dream and solo hiked the entire Appalachian Trail. Caitlin’s strength is connecting with people through sharing her adventure stories and memories. She grew up in Amherst, Massachusetts, and, as a true testament to the beginnings of her athleticism, attended the University of Vermont on a softball scholarship. It was there that she kindled her passion for hiking and the outdoors. When she’s not traveling, she calls the White Mountains of New Hampshire her home. My Girl Vaida is Caitlin’s first published work. She has no plans for a sequel, but then again, she never planned to become a passionate hiking adventurer either. Stay tuned.
